German Aerospace Center (DLR)
The German Aerospace Center (DLR) is the aeronautics and space research center of the Federal Republic of Germany. Its research and development work in aeronautics, space, energy, transportation and security is integrated into national and international cooperative ventures. DLR is also responsible for the planning and implementation of German space activities on behalf of the Federal Government. Two project management agencies for research funding are also based at DLR.
